Losing Weight

Day 27 01 July 02 Monday

Today was a kind of medium day. We went to another range which consisted of moving targets where more than one goes up at a time. It was the best range we have been to yet. I hit 36 of 44 multi-targets. If I keep my composure I'll shoot expert on Thursday. I think my whole platoon should go to sick call. Everyone is caughing and wheezing. It got really hot today. So hot in fact that the D.S. couldn't smoke us at all. Mail call tonight was awesome. I got something that I was looking forward to getting. I had been waiting and waiting for this one piece of mail I got tonight. Do you want to know what I am talking about? I got my pin# for my new check card with armed forces bank. Yeah, talk about getting some entertaining mail. I weighed myself last Thursday and I have lost 8lbs since I got here. Not too shabby though I could afford to shed a few more which I know I'll probably lose at least 10 more. I camme in officially according to the Army at 177lb. Anyway, we just got smoked (it's 2230) because fire guard didn't get our head count in on time eto the CQ (Commander of the Quarters) and he came and wasted us for about 20 minutes. Well I got to read from the bible and prayer book so I'll write later. Caio.
