Day 65 11 August 02 Sunday
Once again, I missed writing and this time it was because I got to go to another concert. This time it was an alternative music and the guy sang a bunch of "top hits". He wasn't too good either. Yesterday we went on hte repel tower. It was ok. The Army video spices it up. We had the D&C competition today and we won! So our Drill Sergeant's were glad about that plus this morning when D.S. Conofrio walked upstairs, he looked around and saw that everything was clean, even our laundry room was waxed. Yet we are unsure as to if we get a pass today. Both our D.S. are out fishing. We are hoping that they told the C.Q. if we got one.
We got one! I went to the PX and bought a whole bunch of stuff. I got my parents a plaque for each and finished payment on my ring so I have that now. I also got to call home. My mom didn't recognize my voice. April is staying with us! I am so excited to meet her! I also called Rachel. Manwas it good to hear all their voices! The night dragged with D.S. Stroh tossingour beds because because some guys were caught sleeping under their racks. All I have to say is drive on, 4 more days.
