We had a little time this morning to head into Rome again but only briefly as our flight to Venice was in the early afternoon so we headed to the airport. As we all know, Venice is a series of waterways so after we landed and took the bus in from Treviso, we walked to the boat dock to figure out which of the many lines we needed to hop on.
As fortune seems to folow Jody around, a man approached us and gave us two iMob tickets that were good for 24 hours…(iMob is the Italian version of a Metro service)…and he didn’t want any money for it…seriously, I need to bring Jody with me everywhere I go, this is rediculous! Anyway, took about an hour by boat to get from the bus stop to the hotel across the water…a pretty nice hotel I might add. So what do Jody and I do after another long day of traveling when we show up at our 4-star hotel in Venice? We sat on opposite sides of the room and threw peanut M&M’s at one another to catch in our mouths. Weird you might say? Why you might ask? Maybe weird but I ask why not? Who can say they’ve sat in a 4-star hotel in Venice tossing peanut M&Ms into each others mouths from across the room? Tomorrow, gondola ride!
