Quick Shower

Day 6 10 June 02 Monday

This morning we got up at 0300, cleaned our barracks and formed up at 0400. After breakfast we got our dental and eye stuff out of the way. I look forward to getting my Army issue glasses. Then, after lunch we went to the PX and got a briefing about opening an Army account. Then they handed out some I.D. tags and new I.D.'s but I didn't get any. Finally dinner rolled around and when that was over we stood and waited forever. At 1930 we were dismissed to our barracks to shower and get to bed by 2000! Yeah right! 247 guys, 15 showers. It seemed impossible but we did it. Sargeant's coming, hold on. Ok, all clear. So it has been a great day but there isn't anything else to say. Hey! That all rhymed! Kinda like my poetry!
